Back in August, I drove out to Zanesville to meet Casey and her fiance, Clint. We started their engagement shoot at their wedding venue and ended at a garden nearby. Weatherington Woods is stunning for anyone who is looking for a country venue! Behind the main event space (which is a huge beautiful barn) is a plethora  of rustic outdoor decor – including a vintage truck. Insert all the heart eye emojis here. While walking around the land I noticed a big open field to the right. The sun was peaking through the clouds and shooting all of this golden light onto the tall grass. Naturally, I had to photograph them in it. To get to this jaw-dropping, amazing field we had to successfully leap across a trench that was about 5 ft wide. I could be exaggerating that distance a little bit but to me it felt massive. These two had no problem leaping over the giant ditch – while I, on the other hand, am about as graceful as an elephant. I knew that it could have ended one of two ways – I could successfully land this jump, or fall to my death in the name of gorgeous fields. Worth it.

Casey and Clint will be tying the knot on June 2, 2018.
