Charce’s dream maternity session was brought to life last week. She told me all about her idea of having photos done at the creek during sunset and then finishing with a candlelit milk bath. She wasn’t sure if it would turn out exactly how she had been envisioning it but was game for anything. We started out on her friend’s property in Pataskala, Ohio before heading back to their home for the milk bath. We had previously worked on the land a few years prior for Charce’s boudoir session and I immediately fell in love with the place! The sunset gave off the most beautiful golden glow and fell perfectly behind the creek. Jordan and I both agreed that Charce looked like a goddess in her white lacey maternity gown!
Once we made it safely out of the creek (can’t say the same for our shoes) this gorgeous Mama-to-be and her husband snuggled up in the field to watch the sunset. After all, what’s a dream maternity shoot without a quiet moment to just take everything in?
After basking in the light for a few minutes we started our short trip back to Charce & Jordan’s home. The sun went down with a quickness as Jordan and I prepped the baby pool for Charce. We layered white blankets on top of the pool, lined it with tulle, and then threw in the coffee creamer to create the milky look. Once the creamer clumps had dispersed we gently placed flower petals atop the water. Charce came speed walking towards the pool with her bag of candles and lit up as soon as she saw her vision come to life. I am positive she will love how these images have turned out.
